Vedic Origins of the Hebrew Temple

The "Pillow of Jacob" Rock altar in Solomon's Temple can be seen to correspond to the "Vimana" head of the Vedic/ Hindu/ Buddhist temple. In Vedic scripture, Vimanas appear as flying temples. Since the immortal elixir Soma was at the center of the Rig-veda and Jacob met God in his dreams on the Rock, ingestion of an entheogenic communion was very likely the shared and central rite in such temples. The psychoactive substance thus liberated the mind to fly into the sky to meet the gods, a concept represented by the very architecture and acoustics of the temple.
